Accessibility on the CoMiles website

What the site does

• Every text and background pair in both themes meets WCAG 2.2 AA contrast, verified by measurement rather than by eye.
• Text can be enlarged from the header control, by browser zoom, or by your operating system’s font setting — the page is sized in relative units so all three work.
• Every control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring in both themes and a skip link to the main content.
• All motion — the reveals, the parallax, the ticker — stops under prefers-reduced-motion, and no content depends on an animation having run.
• Light and dark follow your system setting by default, and a manual choice is remembered.

What we measure against

WCAG 2.2 Level AA. India’s Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 and the GIGW guidance both point at the same standard for public-facing services.

This is a self-assessment. No independent accessibility audit has been carried out, and no assistive-technology user testing has been done. Both are launch inputs we have not yet completed.

Gaps we know about

• The site is published in English and Hindi. The Hindi translation is a careful first pass and has not yet been reviewed by a native speaker, so some wording may be awkward or incomplete.
• Screenshots of the app carry text inside the image; the alt text describes what the screen shows, but the text in it cannot be enlarged or selected.
• The mobile app has not been through the same measurement as the website.
• No transcripts exist because there is no audio or video on the site — if that changes, captions ship with it.
