What CoMiles does, and where it stops

CoMiles creates the group, keeps it to a corridor and a departure window, and lets the members agree who books. One member is the coordinator. When the group is ready, the app hands off to your chosen cab provider with the pickup and destination already filled in.

The cab provider handles the booking, the price, the driver, the vehicle, the payment and the support. CoMiles never books a cab, never sees the fare, and cannot help with a complaint about the ride itself — that belongs with Uber, Ola or Rapido.

Why it is short-lived on purpose

A cab pool exists for one journey. Once the departure window passes, the group and its coordination data are purged on a schedule rather than lingering as a standing chat group. A group for a specific morning should not become a permanent record of who travels with whom.

Locations follow membership

Exact pickup and destination are visible only to accepted members of the pool. Before you are accepted, you see the corridor, not the address.

How the money works

Whoever books pays the provider, and the group settles among themselves by UPI or cash. CoMiles records nothing about the amount and takes no part in it — the same boundary as a carpool contribution.

There is no escrow and no split-payment feature. If a member does not pay their share, CoMiles cannot recover it for you.
