Peer-to-peer, not a transport operator

CoMiles connects commuters who choose to share a journey. Drivers remain responsible for their vehicle, licence, insurance, legal compliance, and conduct.

Direct settlement boundary

Cash or UPI settlement happens directly between participants. CoMiles does not hold customer funds or claim to provide bank-grade payment confirmation, refunds, chargebacks, or escrow.

Privacy by relationship

Discovery is designed to minimise exposure of exact locations. More precise ride details are limited to the relationships and stages where they are needed.

Trust signals are labelled

Profile, work-email, LinkedIn, rating, and vehicle states are shown as distinct signals. CoMiles does not present self-attestation as government or provider verification.

Reliability enforcement starts in shadow mode

The Reliability Charter uses versioned rules, attributed cancellation events, finite capability-scoped actions, and an appeal record. Its first policy observes outcomes without applying offer pauses, so recovery quality and false positives can be reviewed before enforcement.

Shadow observations are product evidence, not proof that a person will complete a future journey.

Safety tools have honest limits

Trip sharing, reporting, blocking, and SOS features support users; they do not replace emergency services. Provider delivery and real-device behaviour are validated separately before broad claims are made.

Account deletion and evidence

The deletion workflow removes account-linked personal data and requests deletion from relevant providers. Narrow anonymised safety and settlement evidence may be retained for 12 months for accountability, without account, contact, precise location, message, or fare identifiers.

CoMiles is in mobile testing. This page describes current product boundaries, not a legal certification or guarantee. Operational, provider, and physical-device checks continue before broad public release.
